Maiping 13 Inch Double Gourd Vase

The hand-thrown porcelain body of the Maiping Double Gourd Vase covered with a celadon crackle glaze has been baked and given a light thermic shock to create the crackled lines in the texture. Some lines on the pale green vase are darkened with real tea leaves while others are covered with black calligraphy ink to create depth in the porcelain.
